Welcome to Brinsworth. Our vision is for all of our learners to achieve excellence. We aim to provide students with an inspirational learning experience through which they can develop into confident, resilient young adults, with a drive to do the very best.
Our Remote Learning Hub provides a effective and safe learning environment for staff and pupils alike.
Students can use their school email address and password to access the hub here.
Parents/Carers can visit our Useful Links page to access the vital information they require (such as Show My Homework, SIMS Parent App, SCO Parent Pay) to support their children when learning in school and at home.
We look forward to welcoming our new Year 7s from September. If your child has been offered a place with us, follow the link below for more information.
Our Remote Education Provision document provides clear expectations and details of Brinsworth Academy’s Remote Learning provision. Read the document to find how our learning is structured, how to access online resources and how to support your child with remote education.
The document also provides clarity and transparency to pupils and parents or carers about what to expect from remote education if local restrictions require entire cohorts (or bubbles) to remain at home.
If you missed our Virtual Open Evening then you can still take a tour, explore our subject areas or download and read our prospectus by accessing the event below.
The SIMS Parent app allows us to provide information to parents in real-time. Whether it’s sharing information on homework, timetables, school reports or conduct, parents can stay on top of their child’s progress throughout their education.
We send automated alerts and notifications directly to parents’ phones, and the SIMS Parent App dashboard gives a clear overview of their child’s school life.
For more information on registering for SIMS Parent App, please contact us.

There were a few teary eyes from staff on Friday at the academy. Here is Josh (one of our ex-students) who has successfully joined the Army and is thoroughly enjoying his training. #lookwhatyoucanachievewhenyouputyourmindtoit #TeamBrinsworth https://t.co/9dhtPVeS0U
