Internal Candidates

Internal candidates will be invited to an interview if their Assessment Points indicate that they are on track to meet our entry requirements (see the prospectus for our current requirements). Internal candidates do not submit an application form prior to their first interview. A form is completed during the first interview. The first post 16 interviews are at the end of the autumn term following their mock exams. During the first interview, potential candidates will be asked about their future progression plans and their course choices. A second interview will be scheduled in the spring term to check that applicants are still on track to meet entry requirements. Conditional offers are made to successful candidates via letter at the end of the spring term. A final interview is conducted on the day after GCSE results day to confirm entry requirements and course choices.

External Candidates

External candidates should complete an application form (download a copy from the website) and send via email to efoster@bri.leap-mat.org.uk. The deadline for applications is January 31st. Interviews for external candidates will be held in the first half of the spring term. Candidates should supply a reference and latest assessment and attendance data before an offer can be made. Conditional offers are made to successful candidates via letter at the end of the spring term. A final interview is conducted on the day after GCSE results day to confirm entry requirements and course choices. Proof of GCSE grades should be brought to this interview.
