Exam Results
We are once again delighted with our students’ A Level results. The 2021 cohort of students achieved a fantastic 100% pass rate. 38% of students studying A Levels achieved all A*-B grades and 88% of grades awarded were at a grade C or higher. Our students’ BTEC results continue to be a real strength of the Sixth Form. There were some outstanding individual performances including students achieving all A* grades and students with a collection of solely A and A* grades.
Congratulations to everyone! In a highly competitive market for university places and employment, our 2021 cohort were successful in gaining desirable university and apprenticeship destinations.
Destinations
Typically, more than 90% of our students progress to university destinations on a wide range of degree courses. Around 20% of students gain places at highly selective Russell Group universities. In recent years, Apprenticeship routes have gained in popularity and around 5% of students progress onto Apprenticeship Schemes. All Y13 students receive individual support with their progression plans in a weekly Guidance session.
