Throughout Y8, our students will be involved in a wide range of activities both in and out of the classroom. We have arranged for external agencies to enhance their learning experience by providing additional opportunities to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of the world around us.

Students also take their options in Year 8 for GCSE and this process begins in January of the academic year. Students are guided through the process and parents are given information to help youngsters make the best decision for them.

It is important to raise aspirations and we have strong links with Sheffield Hallam University and Newcastle University to ensure that students begin to explore the opportunities that lie ahead of them and that our students can ‘Achieve Excellence’ throughout their lives.
